Located in the Northern most portion of Mono County, within the Antelope Valley, lays the three small communities of Walker, Coleville and Topaz.

These communities are all un-incorporated areas of Mono County sitting on the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with elevations of about 5,300 feet, these communities benefit from the incredible views of the local mountains and cool waters of the Walker River and nearby Lake Topaz, Nevada.

Highway 395 is the primary corridor of travel to the area with Carson City and Reno, Nevada being the largest nearby cities hosting international travel.

Farming, ranching and tourism are the primary forms of industry in the area. Many visitors travel highway 395 as the best means to access Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park.

The County of Mono is perhaps the largest employer to these three communities, largely due to its close proximity to Bridgeport, the county seat.
