Lee Vining is a small community located on the shores of the world famous Mono Lake.  Lee Vining is also the eastern gateway to Yosemite National Park.

As with most communities on the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Lee Vining is serviced by highway 395 and surrounded by scenic beauty in all directions.  Tourism is the primary economic draw to the area.

A more recent draw to the area is the Whoa Nellie Deli. A restaurant located inside the local Mobile Mart gas station. This restaurant and Mobile Mart is located at the gateway to Yosemite and serves world famous foods at reasonable prices.
